ZAMBOANGA CITY- Maria Clara Lorenzo Lobregat Highway, commonly known as MCLL Highway, ranks as one of the widest and busiest roads in Asia's Latin City. Built under Republic Act No. 9270 on March 19, 2004 the highway was named after the late Mayor Maria Clara Lobregat, first woman mayor in the Philippines. It spans 2 to 4-lane from Sta. Cruz Intersection to Barangay Licomo, and it is part of the Pan-Philippine Highway and the Asian Highway Network. Here's more shots of the said highway.
There's an ongoing center island project along the said highway. Accordingly, the phase 2 of this project will cover Putik to Boalan areas.
