VALENCIA CITY- Robinsons will not just tap a market that will cost them to waste a multi-million investment. Robinsons is not your typical local shopping mall that have just joined the competetion of the big and mature ones in the industry. It had built several shopping malls in the country already. Six branches are present in Mindanao; two of them are about to open. Along with Digos, Valencia was added to the list of soon-to-rise in their respective locations.

You must have asked yourself questions how out of the remaining 23 cities in Mindanao which do not host any type Robinsons mall, Valencia went into the list of Robinson's next construction site. This city, the economic powerhouse of Bukidnon, actually holds potential bigger than what we can imagine.

Robinsons Place Valencia will not be the first mall in the city though. There is already NVM mall at the national highway while another branch will rise along Guinoroyan road. There is also the decade-long Gaisano Valencia. Park Lane mall which hosted the first Robinsons Supermarket in Bukidnon is also a mall in the city.

The city also hosts several famous fast-food-food branches. These are Jollibee (two branches), Greenwhich, Red Ribbon, and McDonalds (first in Bukidnon) to name a few. There are also known banks such as EastWest, Security Bank, Asian Development Bank RCBC, PNB, DBP, ONB, BPI, Philippine Saving Bank, BDO, and Bank of Makati.

There is also a Citi Hardware branch within the city. Several gas stations such as Petron, Shell, Phoenix, Sea Oil, etc., are also in market. Other developments are, but no limited to, 7/11, Unitop, popular pharmacies, and even several known clothing boutiques.

The potential of Valencia City lies on its accessibility knowing it will serve as the crossroad of the nearly complete Valencia-Kapalong-Talaingod road which gives access to Tagum City and the rest of Davao del Norte. The students of Central Mindanao University considers shopping in the city, adding to the number of foot traffic generated by the city itself. Data also reveals that Barangay Poblacion holds the title as the most-populated barangay in Bukidnon.

There are still many developments in the city of Golden Harvest. Robinsons Place Valencia just lifted the city to join the big business game in the island. The shopping mall is already under-construction. Sooner or later, Valencia City will become the main urban center of Bukidnon.
