Cotabato City expects a boost in tourist arrival as the city plans to paint the houses in PC Hill in Brgy. Rosary Heights 1.
In an interview by Brigada News FM Cotabato with Secretary to the Mayor Anecito Rasalan, the project will start this month of February. It will cost P1.6 million and will be supervised by City Engineer’s Office.
It can be recalled that a similar project can be found in Barangay Balili in La Trinidad, Benguet.
While the colorful hill in Benguet was inspired by the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this project in Cotabato City called Shine Kutang Bato will paint the symbols that represent the city like crabs, gongs, and the guinakit.
