Updated design is out and there are changes to the exterior rendering of SM City Butuan.
It can be noticed that the pedestrian overpass on both sides have been removed. The garden on the upper left of the picture has been removed as well being replaced by a parking area.
Several floors had been added to the left wing of the mall in the new design. The rooftop parking and helipad remains. See the old render and compare.
Stated in SM Prime Holdings Retail Bonds Prospectus 2014 that SM City Butuan would cost up to more than 1 billion pesos. According to initial press release, SM City Butuan will look similar to SM Mall in General Santos City.
This new shopping destination is already under-construction.
